After running and starting a successful CPA firm over 35 years ago Jimmy decided to transition the firm into a niche base accounting, coaching and consulting firm. Today, we exclusively serve veterinarians throughout the United States.
Running a niche base firm is not easy and requires continuous Improvement on two professional fronts. For that reason, you can often find Jim attending presentations at national veterinary conferences like VMX or Fetch, or presenting CE quality programs at industry sponsored events. Professionally Jim is a sitting member on the ACVIM, Finance, Investment, and Audit Committee. In the accounting world he is the past president of the Idaho Association of Public Accountants, and a few years ago he was appointed to the Idaho State Board of Accountancy by Idaho governor Butch Otter. When he is not working with clients and serving their needs you might find him traveling the world. He loves the outdoors, hanging with friends and flying airplanes. His motto is : every day is a new day so control the controllable and enjoy life!
Mira Johnson is the integrator of JF Bell Group and has been with the company since 2012. Her job is to make sure that stuff happens and that client’s expectations are exceeded. She was born and raised in Slovakia where she acquired a masters degree in financial management and accounting. She obtained her CPA license shortly after arriving in the USA. Her passion for technology has helped many veterinarians better their practice as well as improve their personal lives. In her free time she likes to ‘play airport’, garden, and snowboard. Mira’s motto is: change is good, when you change you grow.
Jessica Kenney is an accounting specialist for JF Bell Group. She joined
the firm in 2020 and her job is to maintain current and accurate records
for our clients. Jessica lives in central New York. She obtained her
bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as a master’s degree in business
administration from Le Moyne College. She worked in the veterinary medicine
industry for 6 years and now Jessica is happy to take the knowledge that
she obtained and help veterinarians to better their finances. In her free
time, you can find her camping, kayaking, hiking, and spending time with
family.
Numbers don’t scare me; they tell a story, and I love making sure that story ends in success.
I joined JF Bell Group in 2024, bringing over 20 years of bookkeeping and veterinary office management experience to the team. We work closely with veterinary practices as their remote support team, providing guidance, insight, and partnership so doctors and their teams can stay focused on what they do best, caring for animals. The clinics we work with quickly become ones you genuinely root for, and being part of their growth and success is something I am incredibly proud of.
Originally from South Africa, I moved to the U.S. in 2018 and never looked back. Getting to work with people who care as deeply about animals as I do makes this the perfect fit.
When I am not working, you will find me with my family, exploring new places, or spoiling our senior rescue, Ella, also known as Shmoda Moda, the love of my life. My husband is aware.
I also have a lifelong dream of owning a mean old Chihuahua that tolerates exactly one person. Spoiler, it will be me!
Madison joined JF Bell Group in 2025, bringing 5 years of experience to the table. She has a certificate in bookkeeping and is working toward her bachelor’s degree in accounting. Her enthusiasm for problem-solving and numbers drew her to accounting, though she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was young. Working with JF Bell Group allows Madison to combine her love for animals with her skill in accounting. She loves working with spreadsheets and finding ways to automate and streamline processes. Madison lives in Washington State with her partner and five cats, where she fosters kittens and enjoys puzzles and crafting.
